Meet Your Therapists
Keisha Evans, a registered Social Worker with a Bachelor’s degree in Child & Youth Care (CYC) and a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), specializes in helping individuals navigate life’s toughest challenges, including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Keisha creates a safe, affirming space for healing, utilizing trauma-informed, Afrocentric practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Her focus is on building resilience, a positive self-image, and empowering clients to thrive through culturally informed therapy.
Yulanda Julien, is also a registered Social Worker with dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Social Work, and a Master’s from the University of Toronto, brings over two decades of experience in social work across community mental health, clinical counselling, education, and family law. Yulanda is proficient in several therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy. Her extensive experience enables her to effectively support children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and personality disorders, fostering growth and healing through comprehensive and compassionate care.
