Updated: Jan 11, 2022

Our Antidote for Community Overwhelm

Have you ever had an experience with volunteer overwhelm? Perhaps you were asked to provide support to an organization you cared about, and soon realized that the role required more than you signed up for? Or, maybe you are presently on the board of a not-for-profit organization with little to no volunteers on hand?

Whatever your situation, if you are wishing you could meet your community objectives quicker and with greater ease, we’d like to share our formula for community engagement success; especially when you’ve been used to feeling overwhelmed.

Here are three simple strategies we’ve used to ensure our community projects are launched and that our deadlines are met.

  1. Lay out the desired objectives for every task

  2. Assign a lead representative, and a supporting representative for each goal

  3. Ensure that every major outcome is a reflection of your mission and vision!

Following these three simple tips will ensure your team meets their goals, with time and energy to spare. Let us know what strategies you’ve used to meet your goals.
